Job Summary
Execute aircraft refueling and defueling operations for Jet-A fuel within the Performance Work Standard of the contract. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of equipment and tools in accordance with federal, state, and county regulations, including quality control checks and sample testing for fuel contamination. Coordinate and prepare monthly reports while scheduling all calibrations within the department. Maintain time management to meet deadlines and adhere to Federal and State Environmental Regulations for the State Department of Health. Work in inclement weather, including daily exposure to heat and sun glare, in general office, outdoor, and warehouse environments.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of fuel operations experience
- Experience in POL Facility & Aircraft refueling
- Must demonstrate physical and mental capability to perform the requirements specified in the PWS
- Must be able to obtain Government competency certification test prior to operations of the re-fuelers
- Must have general knowledge and basic computer skills
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently
- Must work well with co-workers and customers
- Must be capable of operating material handling equipment (MHE)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HAZMAT endorsement (If not CDL, it must be obtainable within one year)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance
- US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
