Job Summary
Fuel Construction Foreman to lead field operations on petroleum construction projects. Supervise crews and subcontractors, coordinate daily activities, ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence, inspect materials and equipment, manage inspections, conduct daily safety meetings, document progress with photos, and communicate with Project Managers. Requires 3–5 years in commercial petroleum construction or related field supervision, strong leadership, ability to read construction plans/technical documents, adaptability to field conditions, clear communication, and safety-focused attention to detail. Certifications such as ICC UST Install/Retrofit, Decommissioning, or Service Technician, Veeder Root, and HAZWOPER (or refresher) are needed, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a valid driver’s license. Travel up to 50–75% after training (4 weeks in Richardson, TX with 25–50% overnight; then peak-season travel). Remote work not specified; role is conducted in field with on-site supervision.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial petroleum construction or related field supervision
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience reading and interpreting construction plans and technical documents
- Ability to adapt to changing field conditions and project needs
- Clear and professional communication with clients and team members
- Organized, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
- Certifications: ICC UST Install/Retrofit, Decommissioning, or Service Technician certifications
- Veeder Root certifications
- 24- or 40-hour HAZWOPER (or current refresher)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word)
- Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
- Ability to travel to job sites and drive long distances as needed
- Physically fit to travel and work in field conditions
