Job Summary
Conduct audits of FTZ estimates, admissions, and weekly customs entries while managing external partners through weekly meetings, compliance requests, and shipment validations. Monitor, measure, and develop reports with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate new government requirements and ensure legal regulatory compliance with all aspects of FTZ operations. Manage system-related issues, root cause analysis, and classification-specific projects, presenting metrics to the management team. Create and maintain processes, procedures, and clear communication with stakeholders via emails and presentations.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of increased responsibility in import customs compliance roles (professional services firm(s), Fortune 500 company, etc.)
- BA/BS degree plus 6+ years of equivalent practical work experience
- Advanced FTZ experience and managing external partners
- Knowledge of US Customs programs including Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Orders, and PGAs (e.g. FDA, EPA.)
- Proficiency with MS Office and SAP-GTS
- Project Management experience
- Data management, KPIs, metrics development and management
- FTZ Audit program management
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed Customs Broker License preferred
- A Master's and/or JD degree is a plus
