Job Summary
FTZ Support Engineer Team Lead on-site in Miami, leading a Tier 2 escalation function for FTZ software, mentoring a globally distributed frontline team, and enforcing U.S. trade regulatory compliance (ITAR/EAR) and data privacy. Acts as SME for CBP response codes, shapes product and automation roadmaps, and manages VIP enterprise escalations. Requires deep FTZ operations or trade compliance experience, ACCE/ABI knowledge, and strong leadership in a SaaS support environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years direct FTZ operations, Customs Brokerage, or Trade Compliance experience
- Experience with FTZ admissions and entries (E214s, 7501s, 3461s, 7512s)
- Knowledge of ACE and ABI
- Understanding ITAR and EAR compliance requirements
- Experience leading or mentoring in globally distributed environments
- Strong stakeholder management and enterprise account escalation experience
- Ability to read or run simple SQL queries (a strong plus)
- SaaS/trade compliance software troubleshooting experience
- Ability to translate regulatory/friction points into product/engineering feedback
- U.S. data privacy and export control protocol enforcement
