Job Summary
Full-time Weekday Direct Support Professional (DSP) responsible for assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with daily living activities, personal care, community participation, documentation, and medication administration. Schedule is Monday–Friday 3pm–9pm, working with males. Responsibilities include helping with community engagement, developing independent living skills, supporting daily tasks (hygiene, shopping, cooking, cleaning), fostering meaningful relationships, completing required documentation, and administering/recording medications as required. Opportunities for CPR/First Aid training and Med Tech Certification are available; benefits include health/vision/dental/life, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, sick time, disability plans, tuition reimbursement, and EAP.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D preferred
- Must be at least 20 years of age
- Must have at least 2 years of driving experience
- Current driver’s license (not provisional) with less than 3 points on driving record
- Must be able to transport people supported as needed
- Some lifting and transferring may be required
