Job Summary
Assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with personal hygiene, activities, outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning. Cultivate independent living skills, facilitate community participation, and build meaningful personal relationships. Administer and record medications per state and agency requirements while completing incident reports, progress notes, behavior data, and fire drills. Work weekdays from 3pm to 9pm with women only. Requires a current driver's license, two years of driving experience, and ability to lift and transfer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D
- Current driver's license (not provisional) with less than 3 points on driving record
- Must be able to transport people supported as needed
- Must have at least 2 years of driving experience
- Must be at least 20 years of age
- Some lifting and transferring may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Paid trainings, including CPR/First Aid and opportunities to obtain Med Tech Certification
