Job Summary
Universal Banker I role located in Baton Rouge, LA, performing teller and related duties 75% of time with 25% platform/new accounts work. Responsibilities include knowledge of bank products, handling teller operations, vault and cash handling, new accounts, back-up loan duties, maintaining confidentiality, and complying with BSA/AML rules. Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of teller experience; preferred business degree and strong Microsoft Office skills. May involve NMLS registration per SAFÉ Act and is subject to varying daily shifts between 7:45 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, with potential overtime; professional appearance and strong organizational/communication skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year teller experience in a financial institution
- Knowledge of bank products and services
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to handle teller duties, vault, and back-up loan duties
- Potential NMLS registration as required by SAFÉ Act
