Job Summary
Provide teller services for retail and commercial clients, process transactions with accuracy, sell money orders and official checks, and promote BancFirst services through cross-selling. Maintain adherence to policies and procedures, balance cash, handle confidential matters, and communicate effectively. Requires high school diploma or GED, strong customer service, and willingness to train for teller duties; flexible to work varying hours including open/close shifts. Prior teller experience is a plus. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Strong customer service skills
- Previous teller experience a plus, but will train
- Knowledge of teller cash limits, teller machines, and preparation of teller work
- Ability to balance teller cash and maintain acceptable balancing percentages as defined by management
- Maintain Branch cash vault (if applicable)
- Knowledge of consignment items and their issuance
- Able to perform in a highly sensitive environment, deal with confidential matters and meet deadlines
- Work well individually and with a team while maintaining a positive attitude
- Must demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor
- Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks
- Critical thinking skills
- Excellent work ethic
- Ability to work various hours as assigned to meet the needs of the business (open/close branch)
- Able to perform opening and closing duties while maintaining security standards
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
