FT Staff Nurse - RN (Nights)

Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care under supervision of a registered nurse and medical provider, completing comprehensive assessments, admission documentation, and medication administration as prescribed. Monitor patient medical and psychiatric status, report changes promptly, and apply clinical judgment for crisis interventions including suicide risk assessment and de-escalation. Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and interdisciplinary team members to implement provider orders, participate in treatment planning, and ensure accurate electronic medical record documentation. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission standards, and regulatory requirements while supporting medication management and controlled substance processes. Work full-time night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week on-site in Gulf Breeze, FL. Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience
- Experience in substance use disorder treatment
- Experience in co-occurring mental health disorders in an inpatient setting
- Working knowledge of nursing standards of care for patients with mental health conditions
- Working knowledge of nursing standards of care for substance use disorders
- Working knowledge of nursing standards of care for co-occurring diagnoses
- Strong clinical assessment skills

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in substance use disorder treatment and co-occurring mental health disorders in an inpatient setting strongly preferred
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
