Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations by managing opening and closing procedures, supervising crew members, and ensuring the BEST customer service experience. Drive sales growth through active merchandising optimization and staff performance management while handling receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock. Act as Manager on Duty to address urgent issues, support associate onboarding, and perform store maintenance tasks including cleaning and stock room upkeep. Frequently operate cash registers, move heavy merchandise, and communicate with customers and team members. Requires flexible scheduling including days, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 1 years of management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Creative thinking
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Must be able to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
- Must be able to move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
- Must be able to ascend/descend ladders
- Must be able to position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop
- Must be able to frequently operate cash register
- Must be able to frequently communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face-to-face in the store, as well as with managers and coworkers
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
