Job Summary
Engage customers with expert product knowledge, guiding them from initial interest to purchase while managing quotes and closing sales. Lead by example through proactive selling, fostering brand loyalty and achieving personal sales goals alongside team members. Collaborate to review open quotes, follow up to drive conversion, and champion new initiatives to boost adoption. Maintain a welcoming store environment by adhering to visual merchandising standards and supporting operations including opening/closing, inventory, and exchanges. Quickly resolve customer issues and utilize CRM tools for effective outreach and data prioritization. Travel to local stores and vendors as required.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High-School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in retail sales or customer service role
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Able to effectively utilize technology for sales and customer support including demonstrating products, assisting customers and utilizing internal CRM systems to enhance customer experience and drive future outreach
- Support Lovesac's omni-channel customer experience by being flexible and able to assist in-person at your home store, local stores and third-party vendors
- Must be able to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, to local stores, third-party vendors and for occasional meetings using various forms of transportation
- Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions, handling sensitive business and customer data, customer privacy and ensuring the comfort and safety of persons and property
- Effective communication skills and ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner
- Must be able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position-to-position or be able to assemble furniture while working on the selling floor
- Must be able to travel using various forms of transportation, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, for meetings and conferences held either at our offices or offsite (i.e. quarterly team connection weeks, companywide meetings, vendor visits)
- Must comply with all policies and procedures outlined in the Lovesac Employee Handbook and work collaboratively with fellow employees, treating all clients, both internal and external with dignity and respect at all times
