Job Summary
Engage customers with product demonstrations, manage quotes, and close sales while maintaining a welcoming, visually appealing store environment. Collaborate with the team to review open quotes, follow up on conversions, and champion new initiatives to drive adoption and performance. Proactively conduct customer outreach, resolve issues quickly, and support store operations including opening/closing, inventory management, and exchanges. Utilize CRM tools and sales data to prioritize tasks, adhere to safety policies, and assist management with additional operational functions. This role requires flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, plus the ability to travel to local stores and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High-School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in retail sales or customer service role
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Able to effectively utilize technology for sales and customer support including demonstrating products, assisting customers and utilizing internal CRM systems to enhance customer experience and drive future outreach
- Support Lovesac's omni-channel customer experience by being flexible and able to assist in-person at your home store, local stores and third-party vendors
- Must be able to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, to local stores, third-party vendors and for occasional meetings using various forms of transportation
- Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions, handling sensitive business and customer data, customer privacy and ensuring the comfort and safety of persons and property
- Effective communication skills and ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner
- Must be able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position-to-position or be able to assemble furniture while working on the selling floor
- Must be able to travel using various forms of transportation, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, for meetings and conferences held either at our offices or offsite (i.e. quarterly team connection weeks, companywide meetings, vendor visits)
- Must comply with all policies and procedures outlined in the Lovesac Employee Handbook and work collaboratively with fellow employees, treating all clients, both internal and external with dignity and respect at all times
