Job Summary
Retail Banker responsible for processing a variety of customer transactions in-person and by mail/night deposit; cross-training to Retail Banking Specialist to open new accounts and set up direct deposits/retirement accounts. Requires on-site work in North Little Rock, AR. Duties include identifying customer needs, explaining financial products, resolving issues, verifying checks, identifying counterfeit currency, reviewing transactions for accuracy, completing Currency Transaction Reports and related suspicious activity reports, maintaining cash drawers and vault, handling night/ATM deposits, assisting with research and discrepancies, promoting bank products, maintaining confidentiality, and participating in training to gain additional retail services skills such as wire transfers and foreign currency handling.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED completion
- 1-2 years post-secondary education and/or cash handling, customer service, relevant banking, or professional experience preferred
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, typing, 10-key, and utilization of the internet
