Job Summary
Assess resident well-being, administer medications including IVs, and visit each resident throughout the shift to make staff assignments and ensure accurate care documentation. Order medication refills, encourage participation in unit activities, and provide direction and supervision for unit staff as necessary. Assist in orientation and guidance of new employees while maintaining professional conduct. This role requires a South Carolina-licensed RN with CPR certification and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Shifts run 11pm to 7am. Located at Bishop Gadsden's state-of-the-art Healthcare Center on James Island, SC.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by the state of South Carolina and in good standing with a current active license
- Must be able to administer IV medication as instructed by physician
- Is or willing to become CPR Certified
- Consistently demonstrate professionalism and clinical skills
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, squat, climb, reach above head, carry, and lift (up to 50 lbs.)
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and written
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times
