Job Summary
Perform professional quality massages, designing specific sessions based on guests' individual needs while utilizing approved modalities such as hot/salt stone, deep muscle, or prenatal therapy. Assist in promoting health and wellness benefits to clients, communicate various promotions, and maintain cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas. Complete Wellness Chart documentation accurately and follow all practice policies and protocols. Requires a current Florida Board Massage Therapy License, minimum 500 hours of school, and knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue techniques. Full-time and part-time roles available with opening dates in June/July 2021.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 500 hours of massage therapy school and a certificate of completion
- Adherence to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to the massage therapy services provided, including following any applicable law pertaining to maintaining current Massage License
- Knowledge of and experience in performing Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage required, as well as knowledge of and experience in performing other modalities
- Understands and believes in the healing benefits of massage therapy and body work
- Satisfactory results of background and reference check is a condition of employment in this position
- Must have current Florida Board Massage Therapy License
