Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Charge Nurse in a nursing home setting; responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing direct resident care. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans, maintains accurate documentation, communicates with residents, families, and the healthcare team, assists in training new staff, responds to emergencies, participates in quality improvement, ensures compliance with policies and regulations, and oversees medication management and safety within the facility.
Required Qualifications
- LPN license (Louisiana State Board of Nursing or applicable state board)
- 1-2 years nursing experience
- CPR/BLS certification may be required
- strong leadership and communication skills
