Job Summary
Program Coordinator responsible for planning, developing, implementing and overseeing day-to-day operation of Connective’s program(s); interfaces with staff, community and government agencies to coordinate services, organize program activities and events, monitor client intake and orientation, ensure compliance with guidelines and licensing, support meal planning and kitchen activities, maintain records and reports, and participate in on-call rotation and emergencies; requires university degree or diploma in Behavioral Sciences/social work, at least 2 years in a related supportive housing environment, strong collaboration and funding skills, and valid BC driver’s license with a satisfactory background check.
Required Qualifications
- University Degree or diploma in a relevant field (Behavioral Sciences, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology)
- 2 years related experience in Supportive Housing or similar
- Experience with harm reduction approaches
- Comfort with working with individuals involved in criminal justice system
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Public speaking experience
- Knowledge of word processing
- Experience with program facilitation/running activities
