Job Summary
The Highlands seeks a Senior Living Server to work in the dining room, serving meals to senior residents and ensuring a pleasant, efficient dining operation while following dietary standards. Responsibilities include taking orders, serving food and beverages, setting up dining room and trays, bussing tables, assisting cooks, maintaining equipment, observing infection control, upholding residents' rights policies, following safety procedures, and collaborating with dining room staff to deliver quality service. Requires clear communication with residents, the ability to relate to diverse residents and staff, high standards of personal presentation, and the ability to work scheduled shifts; prior training in safety, infection control, and customer service is valued. Education required: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds; ability to read, write, and speak English; completion of background check and drug testing as a hire condition.
