Job Summary
Provide physical and psychosocial care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and ambulation. Conduct room checks, monitor environmental safety hazards, and respond to emergencies while reporting changes in resident condition immediately. Perform housekeeping tasks such as laundry, bed-making, and cleaning bathrooms, and escort residents for internal transportation and dining. Document services on company forms, operate medical equipment, and adhere to CDC Standard Precautions and infection control procedures. Full-time and part-time shifts available.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Satisfactory completion of the company Resident Assistant skills competency checklist
- Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases
- Lifting, bending, and pushing medication cart about residence
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Assisted Living preferred
