FT or PT Resident Care Assistant - All Shifts

Job Summary
Provide physical and psychosocial care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, and ambulation. Conduct resident rounds, monitor physical and cognitive status, and report changes or emergencies to the supervisor immediately. Utilize safe transfer techniques, operate medical equipment, and wash laundry as needed. Escort residents for transportation and dining, perform housekeeping tasks, and maintain environmental safety. Document all services provided and use tactful communication in sensitive situations. Respond to emergencies calmly and follow CDC Standard Precautions and infection control procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Satisfactory completion of the company Resident Assistant skills competency checklist
- Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases
- Lifting, bending, and pushing medication cart about residence
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Assisted Living preferred
