Job Summary
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) provides physical and psychosocial care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, hygiene, toileting, eating, ambulation), and supporting the wellness team. Responsibilities include reporting abuse, using standard precautions, operating designated equipment, coordinating transportation, assisting with resident communication, conducting rounds, monitoring safety, responding to emergencies, and participating in resident-centered activities. Requires current CNA certification; prior Assisted Living experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Must maintain certification for a Certified Nurse Aide
- Satisfactory completion of the company Resident Assistant skills competency checklist
- Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases; Lifting, bending, and pushing medication cart about residence is required
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor
