FT Operating Room RN

Provide individualized nursing care to surgical patients across the age continuum, controlling the environment within the surgical suite and coordinating safe plans of care. Administer medications and perform treatments based on age-specific standards for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, while prioritizing tasks to maintain patient safety despite numerous interruptions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, anesthesia providers, and SPD staff to plan for optimal patient outcomes and advocate for patient needs throughout the peri-operative experience. Participate in performance improvement activities by collecting and analyzing data to identify quality measures and promote desired outcomes. Full-time position with a $15,000 sign-on bonus available. Requires current NC licensure, BLS, and ACLS/PALS certifications.
