FT Nutrition & Culinary Assistant

Full-time Nutrition & Culinary Assistant to provide meal service to tenants in a brand new senior living restaurant. Hours are 6:30am-3pm with varying days throughout the week and every other weekend plus a holiday rotation. The Nutrition and Culinary Assistant will provide meal service to tenants under sanitary conditions and in a cheerful, timely manner by communicating, coordinating and cooperating with others to carry out the operations of the Nutrition and Culinary Services Department. Essential duties include offering and serving menu choices to tenants, following portion control standards, sanitizing dishes/equipment, operating equipment safely, preparing menu items, checking daily menu items for labeling, storing leftovers per standards, performing duties on schedule, operating dish machine, and handling till/cash with change. Must be at least 16 years old; prior food service experience preferred but not required.
