Job Summary
Patient Care Technician (PCT) for Ortho MedSurg at Jefferson Health (Abington) provides designated direct and indirect patient care under the direction of licensed clinical team members. Responsibilities include interacting with patients, families, and staff, promoting a safe care environment, assisting with supplies/equipment, and supporting the interprofessional team to meet patient needs. Preferred qualifications include PCT training completion within 24 months of hire, nursing student with clinical experience, and prior nursing assistant or healthcare experience. Physical demands include lifting 40-50 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods, and CPR as needed. Night shift (Full-time) at Abington Memorial Hospital location in Montgomery County, PA.
