Job Summary
Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of registered nurses and medical staff, responding to physical and mental health needs. Maintain Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse licensure and active CPR certification while navigating a night shift schedule from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am. Complete three shifts weekly with rotating weekends, adhering to security clearance requirements including drug screening and criminal background checks. Join the West Tennessee State Penitentionary team serving the Tennessee Department of Correction.
Required Qualifications
- Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one
- Appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
- Must be available for shift hours from 7:00 pm – 7:30 am
- Must be available for rotating weekends
