Job Summary
Member Services Representative at a gym environment responsible for delivering exceptional member service, greeting and assisting members and guests, handling front desk duties (check-ins, phone inquiries, new member sign-ups, tours), maintaining a clean and safe facility, and assisting with membership updates and issue resolution during AM/PM/Overnight shifts. Emphasizes proactive problem-solving, independent work, strong communication, and a positive, approachable attitude to support a welcoming club experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
- Must be able to Lift, pull, push a minimum of 25lbs
- Overnight qualification: Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work alone and independently
- Satisfactory background check
- Strong customer service skills; able to interact positively with members and co-workers
- Ability to follow policies and maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Basic computer proficiency
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to greet, assist, and sign up new members
- Ability to tour facility with prospective members
- Able to work a variety of shifts including AM/PM/Overnight
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Active listening and empathy skills
- Diplomacy in interactions
- Able to work with a team and independently
