Job Summary
Meat Specialist position in Hy-Vee's Meat Department responsible for cutting, tenderizing, grinding, and merchandising fresh meat; prepares cutting lists for case fills; monitors refrigeration and temperatures; ensures hygiene and company guidelines; provides prompt, friendly customer service and assists customers in locating products; works with teammates to maintain a positive shopping experience and accurate product handling. Requires basic arithmetic, ability to follow safety and food-safety procedures, and physical capability to handle cutting equipment and standing for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
