Job Summary
Coordinate and monitor medical services for clients with Alcohol and Substance Use Disorders by applying the nursing processes. Provide individualized care through ongoing monitoring, recording, and reporting of symptoms or changes in client condition using electronic medical records. Assist residents in assuming responsibility for their own health as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team. Perform duties across three 12-hour shifts weekly from 7am to 7:30pm, with compensation ranging from $26.00 to $45.00 per hour based on experience and education.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing
- BLS certification (through American Heart Association)
- One (1) year of experience in nursing
- Diploma from a National League for Nursing accredited program for Licensed Practical Nurses
- Current NY State Board of Nursing License and Registration in good standing
- BLS certification (through American Heart Association)
- One (1) year of experience in nursing
Desired Qualifications
- two (2) years of nursing experience in Substance Abuse setting
