Job Summary
Infusion NP needed for outpatient infusion program in East Bay (Berkeley Infusion Center). Provide direct patient care, administer infusions and injections, conduct patient assessments, educate patients and families on treatment expectations and potential side effects, document SOAP notes, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, coordinate care with referring providers, assist with chart preparation and treatment planning, manage inventory and prior authorizations, and ensure regulatory adherence. Requires NP license (and RN license if state requires), board certification (AANP/ANCC), BLS (PALS preferred), and experience with infusion therapy and EHRs. Role supports multiple facilities within the Bay Area market; strong emphasis on patient-centered care, safety, and high-quality infusion services.
Required Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Registered Nurse (RN) license (if required by state)
- Board Certification (AANP or ANCC)
- BLS certification (PALS preferred)
- Experience in ambulatory/infusion center or outpatient setting is a plus
- Ability to treat adult and pediatric patients (FNP preferred)
- Strong IV and infusion therapy skills
- Proficiency with EHR and HIPAA/compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
