Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and prescribe psychopharmacological treatments for patients in a residential setting. Provide psychotherapy and counseling while collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care. Maintain detailed patient records and participate in case conferences and treatment planning meetings. Stay current with psychiatric advancements through continuing education activities. Requires a Master's or Doctorate degree, two years of PMHNP experience, and Board Certification. Must hold an active, unrestricted APRN license and DEA registration in North Carolina. Flexible schedule of seven days on seven days off or fourteen days on fourteen days off. In-person role within commuting distance of Leland, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Active and unrestricted APRN license in North Carolina
- DEA registration and prescriptive authority in North Carolina
- Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of psychiatric conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Flexible schedule of seven days on seven days off OR fourteen days on fourteen days off
- This is an in-person position
- Must be within commuting distance of Leland, NC
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of experience working as a PMHNP
- Board Certification as PMHNP
- Behavioral health or addiction treatment experience
