Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications for patients with mental health conditions in a residential setting. Provide psychotherapy and counseling while collaborating with multidisciplinary team members for coordinated care. Maintain detailed patient records and participate in case conferences and treatment planning meetings. Stay current with psychiatric advancements through continuing education. Requires a Master's or Doctorate in Nursing, two years of PMHNP experience, and Board Certification. Must hold an active APRN license and DEA registration in West Virginia. Monday through Friday schedule with one weekend rotation per month and call duty as needed. In-person role within commuting distance of Charleston, West Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Active and unrestricted APRN license in West Virginia
- DEA registration and prescriptive authority in West Virginia
- Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of psychiatric conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Monday - Friday and one weekend per month schedule
- Call duty as needed
- This is an in-person position
- Must be within commuting distance of Charleston, West Virginia
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of experience working as a PMHNP
- Board Certification as PMHNP
- Behavioral health or addiction treatment experience
