Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive substance use disorder evaluations, complete admission history and physicals, and manage ongoing medication for patients in a residential setting. Prescribe treatments for addiction, detoxification, and co-occurring psychiatric conditions while developing individualized recovery plans. Provide supportive counseling, patient education, and relapse prevention interventions, then collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case conferences and treatment planning. Maintain detailed medical records and stay current on evidence-based practices through continuing education. Work Monday through Friday with one weekend rotation per month in an in-person role within commuting distance of Tucson, AZ.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Active and unrestricted APRN license in Arizona
- DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Arizona
- Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of psychiatric conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Schedule of Monday - Friday and one weekend per month
- This is an in-person position
- Must be within commuting distance of Tucson, AZ
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of experience working as a PMHNP/FNP/PA-C
- Board Certification as PMHNP/FNP/PA-C
- Behavioral health or addiction treatment experience
