Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, complete history and physicals, and manage medical follow-up for patients in a residential treatment setting. Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans while prescribing and managing psychopharmacological treatments. Provide psychotherapy and counseling, collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, and maintain detailed patient records. Participate in case conferences and treatment planning meetings. Stay current with psychiatric care advancements through continuing education. Requires an active APRN license in Georgia, DEA registration, and two years of experience as a PMHNP, FNP, or PA-C. In-person role within commuting distance of Statesboro, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Active and unrestricted APRN license in Georgia
- DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Georgia
- Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of psychiatric conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- This is an in-person position
- Must be within commuting distance of Statesboro, GA
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of experience working as a PMHNP/FNP/PA-C
- Board Certification as PMHNP/FNP/PA-C
- Behavioral health or addiction treatment experience
