Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck deliveries to prioritize processing merchandise onto the sales floor. Engage with all customers to maintain a clean, organized store and ensure efficient task completion according to the store plan. Train and mentor Associates on established principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary to support shrink reduction goals. Organize back stock rotation, maintain signage standards, and ensure compliance with safety, recycling, and hazardous waste programs. Communicate priorities with management and coordinate with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure smooth goods flow. Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, lifting heavy objects, with a starting pay of $16.25 to $16.75 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
