Job Summary
Front Desk Coordinator at IVX Health supporting infusion centers in Frisco and Plano. This is a Monday–Friday, regular business hours role with rotating Saturdays, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Responsibilities include greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling/rescheduling/confirming appointments, verifying patient insurance and collecting copays, updating demographic information, maintaining patient records, coordinating patient flow with nursing staff, keeping the front desk area organized, and supporting multiple centers as needed to ensure smooth operations and a welcoming patient experience. Requires 1–3 years of front desk/medical office experience, High School Diploma or GED, proficiency with EHR/EMR and scheduling software, knowledge of medical terminology, and strong customer service and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of front desk or administrative experience in a medical or healthcare setting
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong understanding of insurance verification, billing basics, and the patient intake process
- Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems and scheduling software
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient-facing protocols
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and accurate
- Quick learning agility—you adapt fast, absorb new processes quickly, and stay ahead of the curve
- Adaptable and dependable, with a willingness to support multiple centers and adjust to evolving workflows
