Job Summary
Illinois Central College seeks a FT Faculty for Welding to provide instruction and support for Welding Technology programs. Applicants must have substantial welding experience and relevant teaching abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4,000 hours of work experience as a welder, welding instructor, or fabricator
- Ability to instruct students by explaining, demonstrating and overseeing their exercises
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain professional relationships
Desired Qualifications
- Five years’ experience in teaching welding
- Two years’ experience teaching welding at the college level
