Job Summary
Capture high-quality photographic documentation of trucks and equipment. Wash and detail the interior and exterior of vehicles to maintain a professional appearance. Safely move trucks in and out of the shop and around the yard to designated areas. Use and maintain all necessary shop and personal equipment while adhering to safety requirements and MSDS guidelines. Communicate with the supervisor to prioritize demand and tasks. Keep the shop area and yard neat, clean, and organized. Operate a high-pressure washing system and other detailing tools in a fast-paced environment. Wear gloves, safety glasses, and other required PPE for all tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Must have a working knowledge and understanding of safety requirements and practice them
- Must refer to MSDS when using any chemicals, substances, and materials, understanding the MSDS information, and abiding by MSDS required personal protective equipment
- Must wear gloves, safety glasses and other PPE for all tasks requiring their use
- The ability to operate a high-pressure washing system and other detailing tools
- The ability to operate in a fast-paced work environment
- The ability to safely drive large trucks and equipment through the yard
- The ability to properly work and operate a smart device to take picture documentation, text, call & email
- The ability to recognize defects, deficiencies & issues while washing and picturing trucks and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of the organization
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form
- Highly detail oriented and organized in work
- Acceptable written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with a customer service focus with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies
- Must have initiative and the ability act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
- Must possess a strong desire to learn
- Must be able to safely move trucks in and out of the shop and around the yard to their designated area
- Must be able to wash and detail interior and exterior of trucks and equipment
- Must be able to keep shop area and yard neat, clean & organized
Desired Qualifications
- CDL
- Operation of light and heavy duty trucks and equipment for driving purposes
- Detail / washing experience
- Use of smart device to communicate, operate & complete tasks
