Job Summary
Conduct individual counseling, facilitate therapeutic group sessions, and manage case loads for guests experiencing homelessness, addiction, and mental health issues. Deliver evidence-based, biblically supported recovery services while assessing needs and coordinating internal and external support resources. Maintain the guest database, participate in staff meetings, and mentor other counselors as assigned. Share the Gospel through personal testimony and prayer to guide guests toward independence and spiritual transformation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
- 3 years of experience in related field
- Valid SC Driver's License with clean record
- AACC or another nationally recognized counseling organization
- State licensure
- If applicant is in recovery a minimum of 5 years of living clean and sober
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in relevant field
- Mental health training and/or experience in a professional mental health field
- Specialized training in ministry, public or business administration, social science, case management, addiction recovery, problem solving and/or decision making
- Possess good oral and written communication skills
- Possess ability to speak the truth in love while accurately interpreting communication within relationships
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
