Job Summary
Develop enthusiastically satisfied customers by providing quality beverages consistently and maintaining high-quality store operations. Contribute to store profitability while taking responsibility to learn all aspects of the barista position. Use the cash register with accuracy, read production charts, and interact with guests in a positive, hospitable manner. Work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle physical demands including lifting up to 70 lbs, pushing carts, and continuous standing. Requires high school education, excellent customer service skills, and ability to hear timers and coordinate with others.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent experience
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to hear timers and coordinate with other baristas
- Must be able to check food quality and read production charts/recipes
- Must be able to use the cash register/collect money with accuracy
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Must be able to lift product cases weighing up to 70 lbs
- Pushing and pulling carts is required
- Regular bending to lift items and supplies
- No kneeling
- Mobility - regularly moves all around the coffee shop
- Continuous standing
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role strongly preferred
