Job Summary
Load and unload donated goods using a hand truck, sort textiles at a sufficient pace, and distribute items for processing, shipping, or storage. Perform basic record keeping, sort and price garments and hard lines with limited supervision, and tag products per guidelines. Greet donors and customers, issue receipts, and maintain clean aisles by removing obstructions and sweeping work areas. Adhere to loss prevention and inventory control procedures while ensuring safety compliance. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality. This role supports Goodwill San Antonio's mission to recirculate used goods and fund community programs through production and retail operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year minimum experience working successfully in retail customer service oriented environment
- Ability to bend, lift, grasp and move continuously through the day
- Two-person lifting of some heavy objects may be required
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage
- Must be able to travel as needed if you drive your vehicle during company business
