Job Summary
Program patient scenarios, set up simulated environments, and operate simulation consoles during nursing skills lab activities. Manipulate simulators, record sessions in approved formats, and provide theatrical support including moulage and voice-over. Assist faculty in monitoring student safety, manage debriefing equipment, and return labs to pre-scenario conditions. Maintain clean, well-equipped labs, inventory supplies, and perform basic simulator programming as instructed. Schedule includes flexible hours with potential early mornings or late evenings. Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an instructional laboratory environment with noise and repetitive motion.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Computer technology
- Background in science or the healthcare field
- Ability to work flexible schedule (early mornings, late evenings may be required)
- Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds
- Ability to see clearly to operate equipment and to assist students
- Ability to speak clearly and distinctly to provide instruction and information to students and staff
- Ability to move equipment of less than 50 lbs with the assistance of devices
- Requires excellent manual dexterity and coordination
