Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee health and well-being of residents in a facility, implement care plans, administer medications and treatments, provide wound care and IV therapy, perform routine nursing procedures, supervise CNAs/LPNs, educate residents/families, coordinate with physicians and other professionals, maintain medical records, ensure infection control and regulatory compliance, participate in care audits, and respond to emergencies with established protocols. Requires ADN (BSN preferred), Iowa RN licensure, CPR/First Aid, and prior nursing experience in relevant settings; leadership experience a plus. Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Iowa.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or obtained upon hire).
- Experience in nursing, preferably in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric care; supervisory/leadership experience a plus.
