The FSTD Support Technician II role involves supporting Flight Simulator Training Devices and Cabin Crew Training Devices by attending maintenance calls, performing preventive maintenance tasks, and conducting low-level troubleshooting. The position requires 3-5 years of experience in a related field with a technical college diploma and involves creating reports and providing on-the-job training to junior technicians.
Required Qualifications
- Technical College Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical or Aviation Field
- 3-5 years of related work experience
- Ability to perform Preventive Maintenance Tasks and Daily Readiness on simulation training devices
- Adequate troubleshooting skills of Electronic, Electric, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems
- Able to provide On the Job Training to Junior Technicians
Desired Qualifications
- Good computer skills with knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc...)
- Basic knowledge of computer networking
- Good knowledge of the English Language, both spoken and written
- Highly engaged and motivated individual
- Customer oriented, able to deal tactfully in sensitive situations
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical documents
