Job Summary
Conduct product installations and service work for automatic lubrication systems on trucks, trailers, and construction equipment, including crawling, kneeling, climbing, and lifting. Maintain a clean work area, service tools and the vehicle, and train customers as needed. Complete required paperwork accurately and punctually. Travel overnight for up to two weeks within individual regions or across Canada. Requires a valid driver's license, clean abstract, and experience with welding, fabrication, and electrical diagnostics. Work with minimal supervision in a role supporting the global Timken Company's efficiency products for transportation and construction markets.
Required Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge
- Experience with welding and fabrication
- Troubleshooting and electrical diagnostic familiarity
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work with little to no direct supervision
- A valid driver's license and clean abstract
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Ability to travel overnight for up to 2 weeks at a time
