Job Summary
Improve product quality and consistency by conducting inspections at receiving, processing, and shipping stages. Support FSQA in implementing the GFSI standard and monitor Food Safety, Regulatory, and Quality programs within the assigned area. Perform incoming raw material checks (trailer cleanliness, temperature, packaging integrity, weight), outgoing finished product inspections (order accuracy, box condition, temperature, label completeness), and in-progress QC tasks (equipment calibration, CCP verification, antimicrobial application, inventory aging, order filling checks). Conduct product sampling QC prior to shipment, train employees when needed, and complete regular reports for statistical or operational analysis in compliance with USDA, FDA, OSHA, GMPs, SSOPs, and related regulations. Work environment includes refrigerated and freezer conditions; overtime possible.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a food production environment
- HACCP Certification preferred
