Job Summary
The FSQA Coordinator will support, maintain, and improve the client’s food safety and quality management system aligned with regulatory requirements and SQF standards; serves as the designated SQF Practitioner and on-the-floor FSQA champion ensuring GMP compliance, documentation accuracy, and audit readiness; drives execution of key programs (Food Safety Team, HACCP, Recall, FSQA training, monthly internal facility audits, and third-party audit preparation); collaborates with the Senior Manager of FSQA to implement and maintain the food safety and quality system across operations. Responsibilities include fostering daily adherence to food safety procedures, managing documentation, coordinating audits, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a dairy/non-dairy/aseptic beverage environment as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or related technical field required
- HACCP certification required
- Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) certification required
- SQF Practitioner training required
- Experience: 2–5 years in food safety and quality assurance in food manufacturing
- GLP knowledge required
- Open to candidates who hold 2 out of 3 required certifications and willing to receive the 3 within 90 days
