FSQ Technician - 1st Shift, 2nd Shift or Weekend Shift

Job Summary
Conduct quality tests, perform inspection checks, and calibrate equipment to ensure company and customer standards are met. Analyze samples for raw materials and finished products, specifically testing pH, gluten, and water activity. Communicate findings regarding food safety deficiencies to the FSQA Manager and provide feedback and recommendations. Ensure employees are following safety regulations while maintaining a safe working environment. Operate or quickly learn equipment to assess products for quality compliance. This role requires proficiency in Excel and Word processing, strong time management skills, and the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work on the computer and proficiently use Excel and Word Processing
- Sufficient written communication and reading skills
- Ability to operate or to quickly learn equipment
- Ability to follow directions
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position during the shift, using repetitive motion
- Must be able occasionally lift, push, pull and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds across the plant for various needs
- Must have good hand/eye coordination
Desired Qualifications
- Previous QA experience is preferred, but not required
