Job Summary
FSQ Supervisor leads and oversees food safety and quality assurance activities within the Germantown plant. The role supervises FSQ Technicians, ensures compliance with HACCP, GMP, sanitation, allergen controls, and quality programs, and drives continuous improvement initiatives supporting operational excellence and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include supervising and developing staff, leading monitoring of HACCP/CCP programs, managing CAPA investigations, coordinating monitoring/verification/validation and pre-operational inspections, supporting third-party audits and corrective actions, tracking Food Safety and Quality KPIs, providing technical support for change control and Stage & Gate processes, and promoting accountability, teamwork, and a culture of food safety excellence. Requirements include a High School diploma, 3+ years of supervisory experience in food/beverage manufacturing, 5+ years of experience in the sector, hands-on experience with HACCP/GMPs and lab operations, strong leadership and communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a valid driver’s license with ability to travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma required
- Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in food or beverage manufacturing
- Minimum 5 years of experience in food or beverage manufacturing, preferably in Quality, Food Safety, and/or Production
- Practical experience with HACCP, GMPs, food safety systems, and laboratory operations
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
