FSQ Specialist (Days)

Manage organization and maintenance of QA department documentation in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel, InterSpec, Intelex, and Oracle. Collaborate with suppliers, co-packers, and customers to ensure accurate information is available for the Quality Assurance Manager. Lead the site sensory program, review and approve food safety documentation including COA data, and drive improvements to streamline data entry and information management processes. Investigate customer complaints to determine root causes, lead internal audits of critical food safety activities, and manage the HOLD Program for non-conforming policy compliance. Coordinate product sample shipments to customers and third-party labs for testing, compile monthly KPI reports, and escalate supplier non-conformances using the Intelex database. Resolve specific food safety or product quality issues with suppliers through product retrieval and shipping support. Located at the SunOpta Plant in Midlothian, TX, this day shift role (8 am to 5 pm) supports the plant as the primary quality data collection and integration resource.
