Job Summary
Perform complex sample preparation and analysis to quantitatively measure pharmaceutical compounds for stability and analytical testing. Set up and maintain analytical instrumentation, including HPLC, UPLC, GC, and MS, while troubleshooting extraction and instrumentation problems. Review and interpret data for technical, quality, and compliance with protocols, SOPs, and GMP/GLP standards before submission. Provide assistance and training for team members on routine operations, maintenance, and regulatory procedures. Communicate project status to the project leader and ensure QA findings are addressed appropriately. Work with multiple functional groups to meet business needs while maintaining accuracy and reliability in laboratory results.
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening
- Bachelor's degree (Life Sciences degree preferred) or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years)
- Demonstrated knowledge of multiple applicable techniques such as: HPLC, UPLC, LC, GC, MS, Dissolution Testing, Karl Fischer, UV-Vis, FT-IR, TOC
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Proven ability to interpret data by performing trend analysis
- Proven ability in technical writing skills
- Ability to independently optimize analytical methods
- Proven problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Time management and project management skills
- Able to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
- Able to work in non-traditional work environments
- Able to use and learn standard office equipment and technology with proficiency
- Able to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities
Desired Qualifications
